In GPS technology aspect, the GPS receiver decodes the NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association) serial signals which received from the satellites, and transmit these decoded data to the software interface immediately to calculate the current position, speed, direction and time…etc.

    In 4G technology aspect, DGS-220 introduces the usage of the AT commend. The students can take advantage of the software interface to send the AT commend to control the module, deliver the SMS messages, make a call or access to Internet.

    When GPS and 4G technologies are integrated together for usage, the GPS first receives the latitude and longitude information, and then uses the Internet access function provided by 4G to transmit the latitude and longitude information to Google Map for presentation through the Internet.
